Spring 1942 Eastern Front

The Germans are holding a defensive position the Soviets are spoiling for a fight
A T-34-76 platoon will attempt to capture a village held by the Germans
Somehow the pictures I had, they didnt crop up but I will get them from my phone.

Alternative rules for ww2

I really enjoy Bolt Action. However as I have a large collection I'm going to start using Flames of War for larger games.

My collection fits both systems so I shall try out FOW this year.
I have the rule book and intelligence books but no unit cards however the stats are in the books.

Soviet armored train 1941

One of the kits switch my friends from the Royal Canadian Navy pass over to me last year was an armored Soviet train from 1941. I finally was able to put the kids together today and it just needs to get a bit of paint proponents. The train effect for my Barfield will be the railroad section. The actual train itself. I will be using as a bunker. Where is the turrets? I will probably be adding to a kitbar stop of a Russian tank. It has its Road Wheels tracks chassis, but no turret. So this chart from the train set will be able to be added to that tank and I will fortify the position for the rail car. So it's quite a nice little kid that he was able to get to me pictures to follow.

Terrain bits: Manhole cover with an arm sticking out

In the WI issue for January 2020, they listed lists some Fighting in built up areas terrain ideas. Ideas that piqued my eye was the one using spare arm bits as a marker to show troops in hiding.
So, I've realized what I can do with the ton of spare kit I have.
