Churchill Tanks, combat and engineering

Another addition from my buddy I trade kit with. So some Engineer kit to work on.
A good friend of mine from work, was so bored that she built the Churchill bridge tank for me. Now I got the kit in 2019 but it was built in the summer of 2020 during the Covid pandemic by my fellow coworker who was also laid off and was so bored she wanted to build some kits. She didn't want to keep them but wanted to build tanks as she had previously built airplanes.

Most of the Churchill tanks I have are set up for the Italian campaign. However I will press them into service with my British units

Canadians at Carpiquet Aerodrome 1944

A mix of British and Canadian armour let's see how well this force will do against the SS. I don't think I need to get anymore British or Canadian armor!
This was a mega smash up! The Canadians decided to try and take a hill to dominate the airport but the SS had figured out how to keep the Canadians from reaching their objectives.
Ian was focused on taking out a lot of my carriers. He left .y Artillery alone but I was still unable to take and hold the hill

North Africa 8th Army attacks Afrika Korps 1942

An as yet named battle   the Commonwealth troops take on the Germans over an Oasis.
One of the desert battles I got to do on the table this summer.

The Germans are attempting to defend an Oasis, lots of barbed wire and mines

Nothing like making any cover stick out like a dogs bollocks, but in the desert, what can you do?

one of the few stone area

Panzer IIIs knocked out

and most of the British armour is not faring much better!

Ok, so I couldn't help it, Universal carriers variants and 25pdr variants

I saw that Plastic Soldier Company  had several kits that were saying buy me.
So I ordered a 25pdr with CMP tow
A Universal carrier variants set, 7 vehicles in that and a Sexton set.

I've been doing a lot of overtime and will be doing some more so I wanted to treat myself.
No just to tackle the kits I got this spring
So, one of the positions I get to work at my new job allows me to build kits while on duty as I'm alone in a checkpoint for 12 hours. And rather than fall asleep, I kept myself busy.

25pdr guns, 18/25pdr pheasants with CMP pattern trucks

Sextons, I have been wanting this for a VERY long time.

the carriers, lots of em
Round 1 of painting with the spray can. Several trucks, half-tracks, universal carriers, artillery

British tanks: The Comet in 1/72

Comet tank was one of the British tanks which utilized a 77 mm gun and was one of the late War issue tanks which was unable to prove its combat in the second world war but was able to serve into the Korean conflict alongside the Centurion tank
the comets in this picture consists of one tank attached to the 11th Armored Division while the other two I am going to have for a post-war British division which can be used for manything from 1950 up to 1970 and possibly into the 80s as a reservist /  ta division

The Estonian war of independence 1918 to 1920

Within wargamers Illustrated issue 381 July 2019 there was an article consisting of the Estonian war of independence of which I have an interest in considering what if my former co-workers was in Estonian citizen the campaign should be relatively easy to work as I have first world war figures which can be used for either signed my Russian Force can be used with first world second world war Russians minus the fact that they're wearing helmets.

I have First World War Russians which I've been trying to build up, paint up and base. This is one of my ongoing projects which as of this update (2024) is 5 years after posting.
