Milne Bay, New Guniea 1942

I'm going to pit an Australian force against a Japanese one.

Japanese sailors banzai charge the Australian position only to be cut down, a lone Mmg giving covering fire
However on the left flank, the Naval party breach the line
The naval line firing on the Australian position
Troops fixing bayonets to Banzai
Some of the support, a 75mm gun which was eventually taken
Australian troops with a Vickers Machine gun
The Australian 2pdr gun with infantry support
A Vickers light tank
Australian militia

I have several different units to field but I'm going to go with what I have.

Australian Militia section

Australian Imperial Force section

Support includes 2pdr Anti-tank gun, vickers Mmg and mortar

IJN SNLF force

Malaya 1942 Airfield Defense

Malaya 1942 Battle of Malaca

Bolt action scenario 3 from Empire in Flames.

I'm putting a Commonwealth force against an IJN and IJA force to take a beach.

The Japanese force was relatively light in numbers but had significant firepower with light machine gun teams, a mortar, a 75mm gun and a tank.

The Argyles and Australians were attempting to keep a hold on the beaches but were slowly being taken one by one. About the only high mark for the Commonwealth forces was the RA Anti-tank gun which eventually knocked out the tank. The Australian mortars were taken out by a Banzai charge. Despite supporting fire from a Vickers MMG, the Commonwealth troops fell back. The Japanese hold the beach.

Bolt Action Battle of Crete campaign Makeme Airfield

New Zealand troops including a Maori with a Matilda tank, section  holding an airfield from a German Paratroopers attack

Germans consist of Paras, Luftwaffen and Mountain troops.

More to come

One of my friends who passed away, his daughter has allowed me to borrow many of his books. I shall be researching to do this action either the late summer of fall of 2022.

I was able to get a few more figures for the 14th Brigade which was an ad hoc Commonwealth brigade. My German units are ready, I just need to find my Mountain infantry.
When I returned from Nunavut, this book unfortunately was damaged by water, so I shall have to replace it eventually

Battle of Kufra Bolt Action

Free French and British LRDG with some Arab Camelry  attack an Italian desert fort and airstrip.

Definitely an interesting battle

The battle seesaw between the Axis and Allied forces. While the German armor eliminated the Allied armor, the ANZAC and Indian troops have pounded the mixed Axis troops.
The Vichy French have suffered severe casualties, the Afrika Korps have remained in the Fort while the Libiyan Arabs have kept up their fight.
