101st SS Panzer Regiment

The painted kit

While on my way home Saturday, I stopped by a museum and got some new German kits.

I'm building a new Tiger tank kit by Hasegawa for my Waffen SS force.

Tiger has been build by 3/15/2021, just need to paint.

This tiger was part of Michael Whitman's unit but the decals for the kit didnt allow for. In this unit, they took on the British 7th Armoured Division and the Canadian Third division.

I was also able to get a recon set and a Stug III

First bit of paint

There are a few more kits in the shop but I'll get them later.

German transportation

yes I know I made an error, I glued the truck frame with struts upside down

Needs painted  and tracks added
Both of these kits I got in trade from a Navy veteran 3 years ago. I have finally gotten them built up. Painting, well still working on that.

Scammel tank transporter

I just have to paint up the rear wheels. I plan on using this vehicle for a bridging unit.

I have an article from one of my wargame magazines which has a bridging operation for WW2 which I'll use my FOW rules.

Support to the table top, buildings

Since 1978, as well as vehicles and figures I have also added buildings to my tabletop games. Most of the collection is what I have gotten since 2000, but some came from my Dads collection which he passed to me in 1983.

Over the next while I will be noting these.

A few Panzergrenadiers and Gerbjagers

And some vehicles getting paint and decals.

Stuart Recce made with spare bits

Right. So I have several spare bits of Stuart hulls with tracks and spare tarp tops. While looking at other FB groups I've come up with a small project I can do on my days off.

A Stuart Recce with machine guns with a cloth top with foilage and Jerry cans.

It can work.

Pictures to follow

I just need to find the time and where I put them.
