The CCanadian 8th brigade with the Queens own Riflesof Canada with the North Shore New Brunswick Regiment attempt to storm the town held bythe 26th Panzergrenadier of the 12th SS. 
unfortunately for the Canadian troops, the armor support was knocked out early in the battle.
